Just for a sign
of a hand,
for a sign of some lips,
for a smile on a face
I look,
like a homeless
searching for
something,
in streets
he never knew
and homes
he never had.
I'm enjoying
the superb silence
of the heart
where my mind
can rest sweetly
and can still believe.
Just a sign
I'd see in your eyes,
past infinite memories
in your hands
and sharing sweet smiles
on your lips.
And I hope soon or later
you'll keep them on
for the happiness
I incessantly look for.
